The United States of Whatever We Think It Is

At the Subject to Change opening, a juried exhibition on the nature of unfinished work, I presented a large blank corkboard bearing the outline of the United States, with a plea to the audience to help me fill out the state shapes of the country. Participants were encouraged to rely only on their memories for this activity.
